Levi has been so close to finally rolling over and he finally did it! I think he is enjoying his new found freedom. He has rolled both ways, but is more consistent rolling onto his belly.

Levi rolls over
Levi has been so close to finally rolling over and he finally did it! I think he is enjoying his new found freedom. He has rolled both ways, but is more consistent rolling onto his belly.
Isaac's first stitches
Isaac has had a rough month. He visited urgent care for the second time this month. Earlier this month, he had the stomach flu and we took him in so he would not get dehydrated. Then he had an ear infection. Yesterday, on our way in to church, he fell out of our Sit 'N Stand stroller (it was raining and we had to go up and over the curb) and cut open his chin. He had to have 3 layers of stitches...7 on the inner layers and 10 on the outer layers. He was a trooper. What a tough thing to watch as a parent. We are thankful that he seems to be doing well. Praise God!

The best is yet to come...
Today we celebrate the greatest day of all - Christ's resurrection. Yes, Christmas is great to celebrate the birth of our wonderful Savior. But, without the cross and empty tomb, the manger would do us no good. This is what life is all about - Christ died and rose again so that we can have eternal life if we believe in him. Life may bring us good times and bad times, but no matter what, we have hope that the best is yet to come. We pray that all of our family and friends would accept this wonderful gift that has been freely given to each of us. Happy Easter!!

The many faces of Isaac!
Isaac keeps us on our toes and laughing. He loves to help out in the kitchen, especially when I let him lick the spoon :) He is very observant and imitates everything we do. When one of his toys gets stuck under the couch, he knows to go get the broom to get it out. Isaac is a great big brother. He has been teaching Levi how to pray...so sweet. He likes to push Levi around in his walker, and makes him laugh by "crashing" into things. Isaac is very conscientious of his brother's happiness and makes sure he has plenty of toys to play with (usually more than he can handle!). He hears me say "It's okay, Levi", so now he says "Baby, K". Now we just need to get him to say Levi's name. He will say "Lee" and "bye" separately, but when we tell him to say it together, he just says "baby".

Levi is 6 months!!
It's hard to believe Levi is already 6 months old. He has a very fun personality. He is very laid back and loves to watch his brother Isaac. He has very good hand-eye coordination and grabs anything in sight. He even spilled his first glass of milk:) He definitely prefers sitting up or standing (with assistance) over laying on the ground. Not sure if he will ever roll over or crawl...he may just skip those and go right to walking :) His smile will melt your heart and his cheeks are great to kiss. His roly poly body is great for tickling. We continue to see the blessings that he has brought to our family. Now, if we could only get some sleep...maybe the cereal and veggies will help with that!
