Mother's Day

I had a very nice Mother's Day. Dan and the boys made me breakfast. As a pastor's wife, it was a special treat that Dan was actually able to ride in to church with us and help me with the kids! After church, we drove down to my parents' house in Joliet and had lunch with them. We even managed to get a family picture!

After lunch and naps, we went over to my brother Paul's house. They have goats and chickens, so the kids all had fun seeing them. We had a "potluck" dinner and then the kids did a belated Easter egg hunt. Levi is so funny because he was more interested in pushing the lawn mower around than hunting for eggs. At the end , he found a rock and thought that was the best thing he could find!

We ended up staying the night at my parents' house since Dan has Mondays off. My parents were watching Jay overnight so the boys had fun playing and hanging out with him. It was really cute in the morning, the boys were so excited to wake up and have Jay there. They said "Good Morning" to each other and enjoyed pancakes.

My mom and Grandma gave me a hanging basket .

Grandma and Grandpa Larson return from Cancun!

My parents spent 3 weeks in Cancun during the month of April. We missed seeing them and talking with them. They came up to visit us when they got back. The boys enjoyed the time playing and reading with Grandma and Grandpa! Elise showed off her crawling and standing skills!
