Sweet Isaac turned 5 the end of February. What a big milestone for our family. It seems hard to believe that we have a 5 year old. Isaac has been such a delight and blessing to our family. His little mind is always working and he amazes me with his intuition at such a young age. He loves to make people laugh and is the peacemaker in our family. He enjoys playing games which is really fun for us. His favorites right now are Sorry!, UNO, SkipBo, and Memory. He is really good at art, coloring, and using the scissors. He is a big helper around the house and loves to do projects. He has been memorizing Bible verses and tries to put them into practice (Be kind to one another and build each other up. 1 Thes 5:11).
We registered Isaac for Kindergarten so he will be heading to school this fall. He is really excited about it. When I told him about school, he said that he will be learning about Jesus. I guess that's what he is used to right now. When I told him that some of the people probably wouldn't know about Jesus, he said that he will have to tell them about Him! It was be a new adventure but we are looking forward to it.

Grandma Connie came up for Isaac's birthday and took Isaac out for a special afternoon. They went out to lunch and then to a place where they could paint ceramics. Isaac chose a firetruck piggy bank.

After Isaac's day out with Grandma, we met them at the Jump Place and had a fun time there.

The weekend of Isaac's birthday, we had my brothers and their families over for a party. It's always fun when we all get together!

Isaac's actual birthday was on Sunday. We went to church in the morning and then had our neighbors Kim and Ryan over to celebrate with lunch and cake. Grandma Connie and Grandpa Les were also here. It was a fun weekend with lots of celebrating.
