A blessing in disguise
When I was pregnant with Isaac, we bought a new crib for the nursery. Like many things that we purchase, there were damaged and wrong parts. We reordered the front leg of the crib and instead received a side panel. We were very frustrated, as my due date was quickly approaching. We reordered it again and it came the day Isaac was born. Well, that side panel that seemed like a big inconvenience at the time turns out to be a big blessing. While Isaac was cutting his teeth, he decided to use his crib as a teething toy. He just happened to chew on the side that we received the extra part. Now with the new baby coming, we were able to replace the chewed up piece with the extra piece we received. It's always a good reminder to remember that God is in control and things that don't make sense at the time may in the future. Who knows what I'll gain from the virus experience!!
