Santa's Village

Our neighbor gave us some tickets to Santa's Village.  It's an "azoosment" park.  We went there last weekend.  It was actually quite fun how they had it set up.  There were animals all throughout the park so we could look at them as we walked to different rides.  They also had a petting farm where we could actually get right in with the animals.  They had ponies so the kids had fun riding those for the first time!  We packed a lunch and ate in their picnic area.  It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time. 

This was the first ride and by far the scariest :)  It was fun for the first few times up and then we were all done.  The kids actually did really well though but when we were done, they said they didn't like it!  Fortunately, this was the only ride they didn't like.

Isaac's first day of Kindergarten!!

Wow! My Isaac started school today. He was so excited about it. As we have talked about it over the summer, Isaac would say that at school, he would learn about Jesus. We told him that he probably wouldn't learn about Jesus at school so he said that he would have to tell everyone about Jesus! We are praying that Isaac would be a light at school and show Christ's love to those around him.  Isaac loves to learn so he will do well.  Last Thursday we had orientation and were able to meet his teacher Mrs. Lyon.  It was fun to see his classroom and the other students in his class.  I also met his bus driver at a garage sale last week!  She lives in our neighborhood and attends a great local Bible-believing church.  That was such a God thing!!
